As A New Patient

  • Before we make any adjustments, we’ll have a detailed discussion about your current discomfort and any previous medical history that’s relevant to your current complaint.

  • We’ll conduct an assessment to determine what your movement limitations and restrictions are and to learn more about your health and strength.

  • The osteopathic treatment is then carried out based on our findings from the assessment.

  • We’ll discuss the ‘working diagnosis’ of your injury – what’s wrong, why and how we can improve it.

  • Exercises or movements may be prescribed to help you get long-term results from home.

Osteopathic Treatment

  • Our experienced hands-on treatment can be used to decrease pain levels, improve mobility and enhance flexibility.

  • A range of techniques are available and we make our treatment choice depending upon the patient and the condition. Techniques include stretching and massage for the general treatment of soft tissues along with mobilisation of specific joints.

  • Where necessary, we provide exercises in order to assist them in achieving our goals of better health and wellbeing.

  • We seek to achieve long-term results. With a focus on education and positive self-changes, we can help you to manage current conditions and prevent future occurrences.

  • We’re proud of our prompt referral to other allied health or and medical professionals where required including general practitioners and radiology providers.
