  • Postural issues

  • Ligament sprains e.g. ankle sprain

  • Muscle strains e.g. hamstring strain

  • Hip, knee and foot pain

As A New Patient

  • Before we make any adjustments, we’ll have a detailed discussion about your current discomfort and any previous medical history that’s relevant to your current complaint.

  • We’ll conduct an assessment to determine what your movement limitations and restrictions are and to learn more about your health and strength.

  • The osteopathic treatment is then carried out based on our findings from the assessment.

  • We’ll discuss the ‘working diagnosis’ of your injury – what’s wrong, why and how we can improve it.

  • Exercises or movements may be prescribed to help you get long-term results from home.

Osteopathic Treatment

  • We use our experienced hands-on treatment to decrease pain levels and improve mobility and flexibility of our patients.

  • We use a range of techniques and make our choice of treatment depending upon the patient and the condition. This includes stretching and massage for general treatment of the soft tissues along with mobilisation of specific joints.

  • We provide exercises to our patients in order to assist them in achieving our goals of better health and wellbeing.

  • With a focus on education and positive self-changes, we can manage current conditions as well as prevent future occurrences, and seek to achieve long-term results.

  • At our Osteopath Ringwood clinic, we’re proud of our prompt referral to other allied and medical health professionals when required such as general practitioners and radiology.
