Podiatry is the area of allied health that is dedicated to the diagnosis, management, treatment and prevention of medical conditions and injuries of the foot, ankle and lower limb.
Issues treatable by a podiatrist can arise from participation in sport, bone and joint disorders like arthritis, surgery, muscle/tendon/ligament, as well as neurological and circulatory disease such as diabetes.
