As A New Patient
-
When you first visit our clinic, we talk in-depth about your current discomfort, your medical history relevant to your current complaint and anything else important.
-
An assessment is performed to see what your limitations and restrictions are as well as notifying your health and strength.
-
Treatment is carried out based on findings during the assessment. It may leave your muscles feeling slightly sore for a day or two, much in the same way that exercise leaves them feeling ‘worked on’.
-
We will discuss the ‘working diagnosis’ of your injury – what is wrong, why it is and how we can improve it.
-
Movements or exercises may be prescribed to get long-term results from home.
Osteopathic Treatment
-
We use our experienced hands-on treatment to decrease pain levels and improve mobility and flexibility of our patients.
-
We use a range of techniques and make our choice of treatment depending upon the patient and the condition. This includes stretching and massage for general treatment of the soft tissues along with mobilisation of specific joints.
-
We provide exercises to our patients in order to assist them in achieving our goals of better health and wellbeing.
-
With a focus on education and positive self-changes, we can manage current conditions as well as prevent future occurrences, and seek to achieve long-term results.
