Michelle is a positive and caring Osteopath who is passionate about helping others achieve optimum health and well-being. She uses a holistic approach to assist patients with their recovery, focusing not just on the presenting injury, but what has lead to it occurring in the first place.
Michelle has a strong interest in sports injuries, exercise rehabilitation and Women’s health, particularly pre and post natal care.
She has many years experience in sports medicine and injury management and has worked with athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to elite runners. Michelle has obtained many qualifications as a health practitioner to further enhance her skill-set including her full mat and reformer Pilates qualifications, degree in exercise science enhancing her rehabilitation skills as well as dry needling and office ergonomic assessment and advice.
Michelle uses a combination of manual therapy techniques, including massage, joint articulation and stretching, as well as exercise rehabilitation and lifestyle advice.
Michelle has years of athletic experience being a professional sprinter herself competing in the Stawell Gift as well as a representative netball player throughout her career.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys running with her whippets “Indi” and “Ruby”, playing golf, yoga, snowboarding and travelling.
